Mailing in the pcn.cockpit:
The pcn.cockpit sends e-mails for the alerts, analysis tasks or action tasks in the name of the creator (with his mail address).
If your mail server notices that the mails do not originate from itself, but from outside (i.e. from the test system pcn.cockpit), it can happen that the forwarding is refused and you receive an error message:
Whether the mail server allows this or not is at the discretion of the operator. In order to enable the forwarding of the mails, you must add an exception for our mail server or configure your own mail server (as in the real system) accordingly in the settings (authorization required). This configuration is possible in the admin area and we recommend that you have this setting made by your IT expert.
